Elections are held every spring, in March. They occur the first two
meetings of spring quarter. The first meeting is when nominations
occur. The following meeting is when elections occur. One has to be
a member of the AIChE local chapter to vote and needs to be at the
meeting during the elections
If you are interested in becoming officer, it is important
to be an active member. It is also a requirement that all officers are paid members of the
organization. Beyond that, there are no other requirements. However, there is usually competition for
the top positions. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you become active in AIChE, maintain a positive
