It shall be recognized herein that the terms "AICHE-OSU","we", and "us" shall be referring to The Ohio State University Chapter of American Institute of Chemical Engineers. 

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

AICHE-OSU does not collect any personally identifiable information unless that information is directly submitted to us or indirectly through a third party submission. However, shall it become the case in which for any reason that AICHE-OSU deem it necessary to collect information indirectly without the awareness of the user, that information whether personally identifiable will not in any way be shared, distributed, or sold without express written permission of the parties involved. Should it become the case that information is collected a statement herein will be made and changes to the privacy policy will reflect that. It may be the case, that in using third party associates, personal information will become available to us on a need bases to process certain information. This information, will be retained by us as deemed necessary and will not be sold, distributed, or shared without the express written permission of parties involved. 

THIRD PARTY INFORMATION COLLECTION

Any information collected by third parties used, associated, or in partnership with AICHE-OSU shall retain their own privacy policies and are not reflected in this policy. It is the responsibility of the user to understand the privacy policy of that third party even if it is associated with us. In no way shall AICHE-OSU be responsible for the use, distribution, sale, or other manipulation in any way or form of information collected by a third party from a user linked from AICHE-OSU. AICHE-OSU does not endorse, accept, or review in anyway the privacy policy of third parties, either linked from or associated with us. 

SUBMITTAL OF INFORMATION

The information submitted through AICHE-OSU website through form e-mails, linked e-mails, and/or any other medium or method will become property of AICHE-OSU. Any identifiable information contained in such content shall be used accordingly as to meet the needs of AICHE-OSU such as being able to contact the user, address the needs of the user, or any other purpose deemed reasonable. Any ideas, concepts, or information submitted to us shall become the sole property of AICHE-OSU and in no way shall the user retain the right to be compensated for the use of that information. Any information, which has been copyrighted or is protected by applicable laws shall retain the right of the user. In no ways does AICHE-OSU accept, encourage, or partake in the submittal, distribution, sale, or sharing of copyrighted materials.
