University Cell Analysis and Sorting Core

Dorothy M. Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute

The University Cell Analysis and Sorting Core laboratory is located on the fourth floor of the Dorothy M. Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute. The core laboratory will assist in the electronic dissection of cell populations by the use of "cell sorting" according to the expression of selective cellular markers. Such a sorting process can be performed not only in an analytical fashion, but also in a preparative fashion for performance of experiments on the selected cell populations.

Spotlight Features
BD FACSVantage SE Check out the flowcore's new and most powerful sorter!

The BD FACSVantage SE Flow Cytometry System is the most powerful vehicle on the road to discovery. BD FACSVantage SE gains even more speed and power with new features and options.
Cell Tracking Velocimetry Cell Tracking Velocimetry (CTV)

We have developed an instrument named Cell Tracking Velocimetry (CTV) based on the concept of magnetophoresis. The CTV system has been used to measure the degree to which a cell is immunomagnetically labeled, which is referred to as magnetophoretic mobility.
